Our dealer now tells us that they have lowered the amount of MMH's built to 2% of production (previously was 6%).

Can anyone confirm or deny?

MMH is only 12% of the total FEH/MMH production. (2008 ytd)
Mariner represents almost 17% of total Escape/Mariner production.
FEH is 9.5% of Escape production and MMH is 6.7% of Mariner production.

Begging the questions:
Do fleets order predominantly Escapes? (YES)
Do L/M dealers order fewer Hybrids than they might be allowed to order? (I hope not)
Have Ford dealers historically sold more Hybrids and therefore have larger allocations? (YES)

It is possible that the annual volume for the 2009 Hybrid production model is close to being committed - leaving only a small % of the remaining total production projection for both FEH's and MMH's. The 2% figure may apply to future orders - not full year production.
