On my Pioneer Avic D3 (dvd/nav/cd/radio), it involved grounding the radio's parking brake wire and moving a pin in the cable and grounding that. As far as the D3 was concerned, the vehicle wasn't moving... I know, pretty lame considering the GPS still reported movement.

Not like I'm close to my SUV by 5000 miles... but any luck on this? Once i get home I'm looking to "fix" this. However I can feel that crap raining down already. once you cut a wire.... bla bla bla.

??? Any success in finding which wire to "mod"... this is something i would like to change on my 09 also.... Appreciate learning from you all... thanks !
