Underdash rattle, anyone find the problem yet?
I know we had a couple of old threads going, but I haven't heard it in a while so kinda forgotten about it. Has anyone isolated the noise under the dash? Sounds like a fan rattle. I think we narrowed it down to the LH (Pass) something fan (can't think still, to early).
If I can give a TSB, or atleast the problem/fix, I need to go in for service because the metal latch on the hatch glass has come un glued. And figured might as well fix everything we can while it's in.

A dealer in Ohio just told my brother that the dash rattle is the sway bar holder. If you hear it on the driver side it is the holder on the passenger side, if you hear it on the passanger side then it is the driver side. He fixed it, rattle gone.
This rattle, is it more of a clunking? I thought it sounded like some play in the front suspension but its not that. Something beyond the dash that clunks on bumpy roads....but NOT on the bumps like a suspension but rather after the bumps.
Who fixed it, the dealer or your brother? Any way to tell for sure this is the problem? I'm out of warranty and this sounds like it could be my problem as well.

I had the sway bar replaced on my 2005 vehicle in the last ten days. It was done at the local alignment shop where my front end was adjusted into a neutral position. One may want to adjust their alignment with this type of replacement.
