Default Transmission Fluid Leak

2006 Mercury Mariner Hybrid 11,500 miles

While changing the oil the other day (changed to Mobil 1 full syth, btw) I noticed evidence of a fluid leak somewhere on the tranny.

Edited: I took it in and it was a leak from "transfer case front cross over pipe". The dealer "tightened bolts for cross over pipe and cleaned off area."

I would like to investigate this so that I'm better informed. At the least, I would like to check the fluid level. Does anyone have an exploded view of the transfer case? The dealer told me that this pipe goes from the transfer case to the differential.

Couldn't find specific mention of a "transfer case crossover pipe". I wonder if they mean the transfer case vent tube shown in step 2 of page 1 in this:
