If it is just the circuitry, an interface circuit is possible.

I'll need to get more info. But I was told that according to engineers at Ford, the new wheel would not be compatible to retro on to Job 1 hybrids. That's where I left it....

But does that mean they wouldn't make a retro fitting wheel for those of us who got screwed over?

I think the current conversion kit has a 3 month lead time. You order the new style steering wheel & get the rest of the FEH/MMH. Pricing subject to trade in value of your current MMH/FEH Vs purchase price of the "kit". See your local Ford / Mercury dealer for more details.

LOL. Has anyone noticed that the new Escapes seem to have chrome on the 2 rear hinges connected to the rear glass door? I saw one around town and thought it was some 3rd party thing, but today I saw a just sold one coming off the lot and it had them too... the chrome doesn't cover the entire hinge, just part of them. This did not seem to be an addition to the chrome package either.

In addidition to the steering wheel button, aparently a slightly updated Sirius recived or software interface has been added. I saw on blueoval forums some complaining because they could only save 20 song titles, not any artist's.

Not sure if they mentioned steering wheel controls tho.

"Saving" according to the new manual comparison posted here eariler, lets you hit OK when a song is playing, and it will notify you when that song is playing on another channel and if you want to listen to it... Kinda pointless in my opnion unless it knows ahead of time so you can listen to the entire song.

Humm, maybe this new feature is like what some of the other Sirius radios will let you do like on the Stiletto 100 where you can save up to 10 hours of "favorite" songs & then you can play back by title, artist, genre, ... and up to 10 hours of music stream recorded earlier or from live broadcasts (can also replay & rewind "live" broadcasts from when you started to listen to that channel back to X hours).

Then there is the "Favorites" that I think is mentioned above where you can flag a title or artist as a Fav & be notified when it is playing on a different channel.

We need to discover if the NAV/Entertainment center software version of the new 08's is the same as the early 08's.
