Speed for best fuel economy

Default Speed for best fuel economy

What is the best steady state flat land speed for fuel economy with the ICE running and no drafting. Mine seems to like 44-45 mph and really dosent do very well 30 to 40 mph with the ICE on.

Yeah, I think you are pretty close there.
Maybe one or two higher.
I tell people I can get 48 MPG at 48 MPH.
That's easy to remember, and that's really without any battery use.
