Your right, I check his post and he lives near SF which is to far to travel. He's screwed every which way unless he can find someone else to help him. There is alot of people in the Bay Area, I live there for eight years myself.

I live in Petaluma. Have an '06 AWD. I got 33.6 going from Davis to Petaluma and back. Went 65 or 64 on the freeway, got a couple of good tows from moving vans and other big box 40 footers. Yesterday, my wife drove us from Antioch to Petaluma, hwy 4 then 680... She was going 80 part of the time and much less shy about punching it. She got 28.9. Dont think it's a Nor Cal specific issue. When I do nothing but take the kids back and forth to school for a few days, my mileage starts to head towards 28.6 or so. The distance is too short to have much warmed-up driving time.

When you are on the freeway try re-setting the mileage guage, then doing 8 or 10 miles on some flat freeway at 60 or 65. See what the mileage is. Might help us finger out what's going on for you.

Oops, Meant to ask you to do it with the cruise set. Give the computer 10 miles at some steady state on the freeway to get itself all calibrated.
