new Scanguage software available

Re: new Scanguage software available
Does anyone have any solid info on what the effect of "blocking" ones radiator is on this particular number.

Re: new Scanguage software available
My M/E coolant pump is not working correctly, if at all*.
There may be more consistent temperatures after I get it fixed, hopefully, this Monday. I'll have more data in a week. -John
*This continues to be the most common problem I hear about, other than squeaks. About a $400 problem, installed, if you are out of warranty.

Does anyone else have trouble getting SoC reading on a FEH 2005 FWD?
My SGII can read Traction Battery Voltage (TXD=07E122490B RXF=04620549060B RXD=3010 MTH=007D10000000) and other custom gauges from post #7 but not State of Charge (TXD=0745224923 RXF=046285490623 RXD=3010 MTH=007D20000000)

Re: new Scanguage software available
...shouldn't the M/E pumps come under the hybrid drive train warranty?
No. Reading the "fine print" you will see the "Hybrid" warranty covers three (3) parts, and ONLY 3 parts.
1. HV battery pack
2. HV DC to low voltage DC ( DC/DC ) converter
3. eCVT
The water pumps are external to the eCVT.
However, the motor and generator is INTERNAL to the eCVT and would be replaced.

Re: new Scanguage software available
I don't understand why my HV battery Temp xG works some days, and some days it doesn't. This is one of the ones I am most interested in also... It's like it gets "stuck" for a while. Then starts working again.
I can't explain this one.....

Re: new Scanguage software available
Does changing the RATE in the SG setup make any difference? Might try experimenting with that.

Re: new Scanguage software available
Nope. Tried that day one.
Also, I have a SGI and SGIIxG.
The SGI always lights up when I open a door or press the key fob and "wake up" the car. The SGIIxG only lights up when I turn the key.
I'm sure this a result of the newer firmware in SGIIxG.
I have both wired in series, so I can use both at the same time.
If you set speed to "fast" on one, you get fast data on both.
Actually, faster than fast ( If you are looking at the same PID ).
Say "Fast" = every 1sec, and slow = every 1.5sec, with both on at the same time, you get data at every half second since they are out of sync. Not important, just an observation.
I can only see this phenomenon on features that came with SGI like water temp, since I can't get HV battery temp ( easily... I can do it one frame at a time ) on SGI.

Re: new Scanguage software available
I have an 07 FEH the SOC reading is blank on the Scanguage II with new xguage software. It does display traction battery voltage but does not seem to display anything with the same first couple of octets as the SOC. I have had the battery pack recall performed as well. It seems that Ford made a change at some point for some unknown reason to the code that gets this block of data.
