Michelin vs. Continental Tire question
This seems to be a tough question, especially when you are comparing Michelin and Continental. Everyone knows that Michelin is very smooth, making less noise, while Continental has the ProContact with EcoPlus Technology on their tires. If you were to choose car parts, go for what suits your lifestyle, and gives you great value.

I just put lattitude tours on, and they are the best tire I have ever owned for the FEH. Milage jumped 3mpg over the continenals I had on there - the tire Continental "clamis" were the direct replacement for the eco plus. They were not. I lost 9mpg with them! Even at 40psi. When I went to the lattitudes - my milage is beyond anything I ever got with the eco pluss. I average 41.8 mpg going to work every day. (yeah I hyper mile a tiny bit.) The traction is killer at 35psi. I love these tires!
It looks like the current Continental equivalent of the OEM Conti's is the CrossContact LX line. They have a 235/70R16 in that line that they specifically state as "with hybrid EcoPlus technology". I'm sure it's no coincidence that this is the only size on the chart (link below) that has this notation/designation.

These tires have a 65,000mi limited warranty.
