MORE>MORE>MORE>XGAUGE>EDIT

press OK>
then enter: 3 -> 0 -> 1 -> 0
press OK>
then enter: 0 -> 0 -> 7 -> D -> 2 -> 0 -> 0 -> 0 -> 0 -> 0 -> 0 -> 0
press OK>
then enter the name you want one letter at a time: S -> O -> C
press OK>
press SAVE>
press EXIT>
in gauge mode press the buttons until SOC shows up
.

Also, how do you make TANK MPG or Current TRIP an X-gauge?

My wife bought a new 3.0 liter awd MM (no-H) and when installing her SG, I installed mine and kept hers, so now I have one that should be capable of reading x-gauges.

FWIW, I drove it for a day of errands and thought it lacked any low-end. My FEH, felt a LOT peppier and I prefer driving it.

This is a copy of the instructions in the file provided by Scanguage themselves
http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

UNLESS scanguage has updated that file with new info it doesn't solve the problem.

Interesting comment re: performance of v6 vs FEH, my wife drove my 06 FEH FWD and told me she thought it was also peppier than her 08 V6 awd.

I think the FEH "feels" peppier in normal driving- but if you go full throttle the V6 has more stamina.

The hybrid driving experience is twice as fun as driving the gas one though!

If you do the MORE> MORE> MORE> <VERSION and have 3.14 or 3.15 showing, you can read SoC and other xgauges. If you see 3.15*, you are out of luck. I doubt there will ever be a solution since the * indicates the older, obsolete microprocessor. There may be another software rev coming out in the near future but it will primarily benefit Toyotas.

I was referring to partial throttle and off-idle, where it felt like it was too lean. I usually drive like 'ur grandma, so don't have a clue what either one drives like when the pedal is to the metal.

That was the reason I swapped with my wife's SG.

Can anyone tell me what the "normal" SOC range is for my 08 FEH? I just programmed Xguage for SOC and my readings are between 55 - 67. Is it me or is there something amiss in that I can't seem to get it up near 100% - even charging going downhill for a couple miles.
