I ordered mine on 5/14/08. At the time they told me not to expect to see it until near Christmas. Based on everything I read here, I was hoping for Thanksgiving, POSSIBLY Halloween.
Just heard from them today. August 31st. Give or take a day or two. And with X-Plan on our invoice now, as well.
HAPPY DANCE!
Now I just have to figure out how to unload its predecessor, a 2002 Explorer Sport Trac that gets a whopping 16mph if I go the speed limit...

Where are you located Littlebit? I ordered on 5/13 and was told today to expect Nov/Dec with my order being the only one coming to my area for all of 2008, more to come after Jan 2009 at this point. I'm in western NY.

I ordered my MMH on June 1st (FWD, Black, NAV). I was told that it would take four months. No build date...no other info. I am in Northern VA and I am hoping to get it by October 1st. We'll see.

I order mine on June 19 (Silver, AWD, NAV). I called the dealer the other day and all the would say is they new the order was at ford. No build date or delivery date. What I hear is it could take 3-4 months? Is this right?

Yup.. Our order went into the system on June 26th. Dealership told us 14 to 16 weeks. I figure we'll get ours sometime in October but may be November depending on fleet production.

I ordered mine on May 8, received my VIN on June 27 and received notice that my FEH is due to be built on the week of 7/21 from my dealer on June 30. Not sure if that is typical or not but it is my timing.
Looking forward to hopefully driving my 09 FEH in early August.

My vehicle is scheduled to be built next Friday, 7/25 which is right before the 2 week shut down goes into effect. I was contacted by my dealer today and he said we are looking at 8/4-8/9 for me to have it. So...from start to finish I am looking at right at 3 months including the time involved from when I ordered until the production line started.

We have a weather delay in Kansas City for shipping of the 2009 Escape vehicles. Oops! that is a transportation strike by Allied Systems as reported here: http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums...howtopic=25598

The wait is over for me!!! I'll be posting pix to prove it.... cuz some of you just will not take my word for it...
Picked up my 09 yesterday and already took it out to get dirty at a fireworks show!
Hope everyone else gets to enjoy one soon like myself!!!
