Default How can I calibrate the external temperature sensor

My external temperature sensor (I have a 2008 model) consistently registers approximately 10 degrees too warm. After checking the owners manual, I cannot find how to adjust or calibrate it. Can anybody help me?

Interesting... the external temp reading in my 08 is always within 1-2deg of the road side time/temp signs.

Maybe you could reset it by unplugging the under hood 12V battery and waiting a few minutes (key off, of course). This should reset the computers.
