Wayne lives in the cold weather, but does he cry like a baby and report mileage I can get from my V8 Explorer that you can't get? No, I don't think he gets the same mileage you get in his HAH that is rated about the same.

Your mileage is **** poor, so what makes you have the right to say anything? Nothing, you have been posting BS and you produce BS. You don't draft, so you don't have a clue. Have you offerred anything for mileage help? No, that is out of your and your dads expertise who work for Ford.

Say out of the discussion unless you have experience. You and Tim K have no experience. Wayne and I have been here for years, and have paved the way for many. Mr Morton is a USE CAR saleman! he attacked Wayne Gerdes. What an idiot can do is besides me. Are you going to be next in line for the idiot of the boards? Ok, give me one more excuse to show what you know.

What a bunch of fools have posted against Wayne Gerdes! Go ahead and make my day once more!

Great post. Way to show your true colors. Attack those who disagree with you. Not one person has made an attack on Wayne's character or motives. Neither have I seen anyone personally call you out Yet this is the second flame I have seen from you. This is an open forum and people are free to post the opinions as they see fit. Many find that some of Wayne's gas saving techniques maybe pushing the envelope of safety. They are free to have this opinion, as well as you are to have yours.

I am not quite sure how you can come to the conclusion that you determine someone's right to contribute to this forum based on their gas mileage. I don't care what you THINK you have contributed or not to the community, and I could care less how long you have been posting. I don't care if you have gotten 45 mpg out of a 1969 rag top GTO. Everyone is entitle to speak their opinions, and the only people I see who have taken it to the next level are you and DF.

WE ALL drive on the roads everyday and we ALL have opinions on what is safe and not safe. And we are ALL free to express those opinions as we see fit. If you are tailgating ANYONE (car, semi, truck, motorcycle) at highway speeds with only 1 car length, then you are driving unsafely. I don't care if you only do it a 2am on a deserted road when the moon is full and solar flare activity is at a minimum. It is still unsafe for those few times. Anytime you take a turn fast enough to scare your passengers and throw them around in the vehicle, you are taking a turn to fast.

If you cannot bring yourself to understand this, then you have no business having a drivers license in my opinion, and I hope I never cross your path on the road. Because I just might be tempted to bump draft you to improve my MPG

On the post immediately before mine - I'd hate to see a real character assassination if the thread title and some of the posts don't amount to one. Wayne's driving has been put on trial.

It should be noted that the picture was taken during Friday afternoon rush hour in Chicagoland bordering Wisconsin.

Since you want to talk about one thing, I'll start doing the same. Why is that that picture the only thing you are going to talk about? Wayne did not do that the entire trip and that is not all he does.

Could it be because that one thing is what he finds to be unsafe? Pretty simple concept to grasp.

What would Gobbels do? Pretend that picture represents the entire commute, all trips and it's the worst driving on the road.

Delta.... I realize by now you are pretty peeved at some of the hyperbole thats been thrown about (by both sides)

But in THIS case I think you are just wrong to defend that behavour. To put a comparison on it... Drunk drivers only have to drive drunk once.... They don't have to do it all the time to kill someone. As a second admittedly hyperbolic (hmm I think thats actually a math term) comparision... they probably all think they are completely safe when they drive drunk too... because they can "handle it" and have the skills.

I don't want to be a jerk to Wayne or attack everything he does.... but I would hope he wouldn't do that partcular behavior anymore...

The thead title is nasty and condemning and too general.... but defending that picture doesn't help your case.

Yes, TeeSter - Wayne's drafting is blown totally out of portion as if it's the only traffic violation going on...and with dubious motives. My acknowledgement it's questionable seems to be taken like a shark that just wants to bite again.

Two things can happen:

(1) The exchange can continue for as long as the GH staff allows it

or

(2) We could all let this thread go

What about option 2 everybody?

So... I have to have ridden a SEMI's bumper at 55-65MPH in rush hour traffic to DISCOVER I'm wrong.. and its perfectly safe? Yeah... okay.

I also have to drive off a bridge once to know thats unsafe too I suppose....

The tragedy of this thread is that nobody responded to post #41, where the author appeared to be on some sort of hallucinogen.
