Replaced the cabin filter on the wife's MMH this weekend. Boy, what a crappy fit! The Motorcraft part isn't the best quality (the foam band around the filter was cut short, so I had to fill the gap with another piece of foam tape.

Like I said, the fit is poor. My 02 Escape's air box is perfect for the Fram charcoal filter I put in last week; it fits like a glove.

Does anyone know if Ford has addressed this issue, with a better air box in the '09's? If not, I'm going to see if Fram has anything on the drawing board....
