Found out there was no filter for the battery!!
Not the end of the world. It is there to keep out bugs and blowing leaves, etc. Get a new one, but you could even build one from scratch.
A) there is not much air flow anyway ( low cfm )
B) there is a door just below the filter that is always closed when parked
C) there is only a narrow temperature band when the door is open ~60'F to 86'F
D) Below 60'F the door is closed to keep the pack "warm".
E) Above 86'F the door is closed and the A/C is on in recirc mode

the "door just below the filter" ..........what is that ? and i acutally pushed it down a couple times with fingers (spring action) i hope i didnt damage it
Yeah, that the one. That's the one that quits often above about 50,000 miles too. You were pushing against the electric actuator arm.
