Ford Escape MPG
Welcome Troy. Over the past two years, I have found Denver, and the Rockies to be very good for this vehicle in regards to fuel economy.
I went skiing, and Denver up to A-basin, over Loveland Pass got me about 26 MPG doing the speed limit of 65 most of the way. The way home, I got about 85 MPG.
Consider it a 60 mile trip each way.( I forget the exact distance )
60 mi / 26 MPG = 2.3 gallons burned.
60 mi / 85 MPG = .7 gallons burned.
That's a 40 MPG 120 mile, round trip... going 65 MPH most of the way!
Without EV driving I might add!
I love driving in the Mountains with the FEH. It ALWAYS improves my highway MPG.
