It probably depends a lot on what region you're in, but where I live (greater sacramento area) I was able to find a private seller with a 2005 FEH 4wd fully loaded with only 20k miles & a 6yr/75k premium ESP plan for around that price point. Most of the vehicles I saw for similar prices were FWD and had more mileage (50k+). I found it on www.autotrader.com. base.google.com is also helpful.

Dude, you already have a thread started asking for this. You might just want to google it and see what you can find there.

All right, let's use a single thread to address questions about model years, for those looking to buy used, shall we?

WOW... I just bought a used 2006 2WD and the sticker was 27800 without NAV or sunroof etc. Did you get an A-Plan price??? Or are they coming down?

At the time that was $98 over retail with $1000 back ($500 for self financing and $500 for recent graduate). The base model retailed for $23,564 and MSRP was $25,075. My Base plus options was 28,750.58 and MSRP was $30,635. That was 5/19/07. Delivery was 8/22/07. This was for a 2008 FWD FEH (which is a Job 1 model without the steering wheel audio controls ).

If I had know about it in time I would have tried to use the American Quarterhorse Association membership discount for an extra $500 as well but I didn't know about it in time.

I join the AQHA for $35 in time, but it only applies to the '09 MMH and not the '09 FEH. A waste of $35 to that assoc IMO. I did call the AQHA to confirm what my dealer told me and they confirmed, I got screwed and no $500 rebate would ever happen. This was horse****!

Gary,

The AQHA states this about the rebate:
"Ford’s $500 e-certificate for AQHA members is available toward the purchase or lease of any 2007, 2008 or 2009 model year Ford or Lincoln-Mercury vehicle (excluding special editions) through the end of 2008. Lincoln and Mercury vehicles include the Montego, Navigator, Mountaineer, Mariner Hybrid, Mark LT, Grand Marquis, Mariner LS, Monterey, Zephyr, Milan and Town Car."

In my experience - with regards to rebates, there are multiple interpretations - my dealer is taking my rebate.
