From what I've read about timing chains, i don't think you have to bother with it. They appear to last 100s of thousands of miles and start making noise and other symptoms when badly worn. They seldom break like belts do which then may cause engine damage. I think it's a bigger job that changing a belt which is hard enough on these jam packed transverse mounted compartments.
I'd just follow the maintenance schedule and also keep the HVB cooling air filter clean.
