I had read here about the HV battery conditioning where the SoC goes way above normal (53-54%). I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go into EV mode tonight as I pulled into the local Home Depot. When I left and got on the highway to come home, the SoC just kept climbing. It peaked at about 83% then stared to slowly fall back towards normal and went back into it's normal pattern when I got on city streets on my way back home.
I had heard about this but hadn't experienced it in the 9 months I've had my FEH. Good thing I knew what it was doing or I probably would have started to freak out at about 60-65% SoC.
Again the knowledge available on this board has proved invaluable. Thanks to all you who regularly contribute and answer questions for us newer FEH owners.

 

It usually occurs every 10,000 miles.

 

Well, I got my FEH with 113K and it's at 120K now, so that sounds normal.
