Excuse me if this is not an appropriate type of post, I am just so excited to find a place with so many knowledgeable people. What I don't know, should the issues be strictly related the hybrid feature, or to the car overall. If not the latter, just disregard this post.

Our airbag sensor has failed three times! Once under warranty, which they "fixed" less than 15 months later, it occurred again. They went to replace the airbag, and then decided it was the sensor that was going bad. The agreed to "split the cost" of the repair.

I have owned a dozen cars in my life with airbags, I have never had a failure, and now I have two in the same car?? Seems odd. Just curious if anyone else has had the, or similar, problem.

 

Never had that in my ride... as you may see in my sig. what SUV i have. What about you? what year do you have? I'm guessing 06.... drum roll!
