Default Da$& those Ford engineers

I thought I had a cool work around on the poor mans PHEV, but those Ford engineers are sneaky. I was looking at the "jump start" system thinking maybe it would raise the SOC if I jumped a low SOC battery. Well my SOC was 42.7 and I opened the panel and pushed the button the light lighted so I began to dance for joy--- 8 mins latter after it finished its cycle I turned on the ignition and checked my SOC 42.7 drat.

Yes. I tried the same the first week I had my car.
Most owners give it a try before reading these threads, always, no results to a "healthy" battery. SOC needs to be perhaps 25% or lower.
