custom car covers
I found a custom car cover for my 2005 model.
Note the "ears" which fit around your sideview mirrors.
This is the weblink (ebay) that I purcahsed this item:

One of our members posted a photo of (his?) 2008 Ice Blue Escape covered with 1/4(?) inch of freezing rain. I thought this "might" help minimize the stress associated with this enviornmental condition. I'm also leaving shortly for a trip up north and thought this and the engine block heater might help combat the possible sub-zero night time temperatures.

Re: custom car covers
Looks like a great cover. I know this is kind of an old post. But how did your cover hold up. Looking to get a cover very soon. I'm taking a long trip as well and don't want my fiance to have to wash my FEHL all the time while I'm gone.

Re: custom car covers
I use the car cover during the winter months when the vehicle is outdoors overnight at ski ventures or my out of state parents. It takes awhile to "install" the car cover. I haven't figured out an easy way to fold it up in a neat pile!
