I’ve changed the plugs, oil and filters so far. Haven’t done any kind of compression testing yet. Truck has 170k on it.
I thought I’ve read something about the PCV valve being troublesome on these. Also thought I saw where it’s under the intake and a real pain to get too.
I’m sure it’s never been replaced. Is this worth digging into as a possible issue?

Compression test first before you do all that work to get the PCV.
