Default Anyone trying 0W-20?

I notice that Mobil 1 has a synthetic 0W-20 marketed for hybrids that meets the Ford WSS-M2C930-A spec.

Has anyone tried it? I'm considering it.

I have used it in my hybrid civic, but stopped after the only place i could find it was wal-mart. Since i wont buy anything there I just order amsoil online now. Its probably higher quality anyway, and its made in america.

I've been using AMSOil 0W-20 as well (also ordered on-line) for the past 21 months and 21,000 miles.

Are there any chain stores that carry MOBIL 1 0w20?

Since I drive mostly between Minneapolis and Denver, I'm going to see mostly sub-freezing weather for the next 6 months, and I'll put in over 10,000 miles in 6 months, so I think I'm a good candidate for that, but I can't find it in Colorado, but I haven't really looked in Minnesota yet. Thanks.

Currently I have Mobil 1 5w-20 which is easy to find.
Where can I find Mobil 1 0w-20?

I used 0-20 Mobil1 for 64,000 miles in the first FEH I owned (an 05) & now I have been using it for 18,000 miles in my 06.

I bought it online (from autobarn) after my local parts store stopped carrying it. I will never use anything else.

08 FEH AWD, 2 months old, 1200 miles. Changed oil & filter (5W20 Castrol Semi-Synthetic) at 800 miles. May go to full synthetic at next oil change at 4K miles. Thereafter, will extend oil changes a bit, especially if using Mobil 1 5W20. Any recommendations for oil chg periodicity with full synthetic. Wife drives car, 70% interstate @ 55-60, the rest on residential streets. Daily commute is 14 miles each way.

I come from the "old school", change oil every 3K miles, and have a mental block going much longer, but do realize the benefits of synthetic in a FEH.

I'm curious but wouldn't 0W-30 be closer to the 5W-30 factory fill oil? A lot of brands (Red Line, Royal Purple, Lucas, Motul, Valvoline, Shell, etc.) have full synthetics, so there are a lot of choices besides Mobil. It would be interesting to know who makes what oils. There have been a lot of rumors about repackaging oils and selling them as different brands.

Will the dealer use 0W-20 if you request it, or will they only go by the recommended oil?
