There probably is something to that notion of scrambling to make end-of-year car sales. I know end-of-quarter deal-making is always a huge challenge in my industry. I tried to buy a FEH before Christmas in the SF Bay Area and there were plenty available. The sales rep advised me to take delivery after Christmas and before New Year's because "Ford usually offers some incentives then". Sure enough, Ford gave me a $1000 rebate that week, even tho it wasn't listed on the Forddirect.com website. Imagine that, a sales rep telling me to postpone a purchase . Anyway, it's worth inquiring about factory incentives.
