The 2008 FEH oil filter is same as previous. I did my 1st oil/filter change @ 800 miles. Used Castrol 5W-20 semi-synthetic (same as original) on 1st change (with FRAM filter from Autozone). Will do second change at 3000 miles, then probably every 5K, and will switch to full synthetic. I keep cars a LONG time, and oil is really cheap when you do the labor yourself.

The AC Delco CF108 part listed for the '07-'08 cabin filter is not correct!!!

The CF108 is a 11"x7" rectangle and not the triangle-ish one shown.

Can someone confirm that the image for the '07-'08 filter is the FP-66?

I have corrected the AC Delco number.

The FP-66 has been confirmed both in this thread and other threads as the trapezoidal cabin filter for the 07 and 08's.

The oil filter wrench for a 2008 MMH/FEH can be purchased at AutoZone.
It is their OEM Oil Filter "B" Cap Wrench, (25401) for $3.99.
It is heat treated metal and fits mine perfect.

Default Mobil 1 0w20 is back on the shelf

For those who like it, Mobil 1 0w20 is back is stores, with a new green label.

The little rear battery filter is sometimes hard to find.
NAPA on-line has the best price for their own version of the Motorcraft OEM FP51, aka FIL 4477. About 16 bucks apiece. Some places quote $25 and up for the OEM part. All that for something a little bit bigger than a Canadian cigarette pack.

Is there a pdf or the like with pictures and instructions for changing all these filters and the oil for dummies like me. I'm just a little scared of poping the hood and poking around with a sharp stick not really knowing what I'm doing.

I second a PDF. The dealer wants almost $80 to replace the engine air filter and since the part is only $30 I figure I may try it myself since they also suggested flushing the brake fluid for $140.

Just stopped at Walmart today for unrelated items. Took a glance through automotive to price Mobil 7500 oil (they didn't have it) Turned around to spot the Motorcraft filters at $3.48 each.

Anyone familiar with Motorcraft filters at Walmart? Are these decent quality or cheap copies?
They do include O-rings. I picked up 3.
