Thumbs up $500 American Quarter Horse Association rebate available

Hi - for those of you in the States or in Canada, waiting on delivery or considering ordering, there is a $500 American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) rebate available.

There is a stipulation that you must be an AQHA member at least 60 consecutive days prior to your purchase to qualify :

http://www.aqha.com/partners/offers.html

A 12-month membership is $35 USD (cannot use a youth membership).

My wife & daughter are members, I did not think that it would apply on our order but between the dealership & the AQHA it worked.

That is cool.

Some major EMPLOYERS have deals like that with local dealers as well.
Mine does... but sadly, it is not with a Ford dealer.

Cool... I thought that it was just for Mustangs.

That's great info thanks for the tip! I see that the coupon says it ended on Dec 31st 2007 ... anyone know if this is still going in 2008?

The website mentions "Note: The 2008 AQHA program (32576) enrollment will not be available until February 1, 2008".

BTW, just to mention, the AQHA owns the "Mustang" trademark. This program is part of the negotiated licensing agreement for Ford to use their trademark. It has been going on now, for many many years.

When I spoke with the AQHA lady, she said not to worry that the Canadian coupon for 2008 wasn't posted yet, but that the FORD offer is good for 2008 too.
Since my vehicle was delivered in mid-January & I didn't pursue this until this year, I know it works for 2008.

Thanks hugo - I am now a proud member of the AQHA! I checked with my dealer and my salesman said the the rebate will work for me... whenever the FEH shows up of course

Thanks again for the tip - it looks like you saved me $500 ... I'll have to owe you a beer or something.
