I am not sure if this has been posted here yet, but...

It looks like there is a "newer" version (2ND PRINTING - 320 pages vs
312) of the 2008 Escape Hybrid Owner Guide available on the Ford Fleet website :

I have not looked at it in detail, but in searching the pdf by "steering wheel", the first printing shows the Radio Control Features under the heading STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS (IF EQUIPPED) while the newer version lists them under the heading STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS

I wish that it was easier to find out the other "differences" between the two versions.

Basicly I saw a bunch of grammer fixes, making one work 2 or vice versa, changing #'s to words, TM added, etc.

There apparently is a new sat radio w/ save song features (late avaibility), and some safety instructions added. But didn't find anything useful in my 5sec skim.

 

Another thing worth mentioning, is the Compass Variance Setting is no longer activated by a button up by the rear view mirror. The Variance and calibration settings are now located in the Information Center on the cluster using the Menu button.

 

Thanks for the comparison PDF Chris, it makes it much easier to see the changes.

From the ford.ca website, it looks like the Canadian FEH come with the Engine Block Heater as "standard equipment", so I was interested to see the expanded section on p. 113-114 relating to it.
