2010 FEH 4x4 in the shop
Started grinding when turning left. Dealer said ball joint and strut bad at 10,500 miles. Of course 4 July weekend and parts are scarce. I should get it back on Wed.

Typical CV failing noise, tighter turn = more noise.

What turned out to be the final resolution?
(We've got a 2007 FEH at 28,000 miles, with what sounds like a front wheel bearing or maybe CV starting to wear out. Road tested with dealer's mechanic listening, and he says it's a premature cupping of the OEM tires. He says the FEHs are susceptible to this. Of course, the tires have been faithfully rotated, and I can't see any visible tire issues).
