2008 ford escape hybrid 160,000

If I buy 2008 hybrid with 160,00 mile if no rust in rear passenger wheel and tyranny shifts smooth what else should I look for and ask seller?

Make sure it that goes into electric mode once warmed up and you are stopped or driving under 25 mph. Climate control must not be in defrost or AC max position.

Tom's suggestion is excellent, because if a large number of systems are not a-ok, it will fail his test.

Check to see if the electric steering recall has been done. If not, it may suggest lax maintenance.
