Default 2008 Ford Escape

From the driver's side rear window, this even looks to be a hybrid....

99.9% sure that it is indeed a HEV.
I like it. Radio, climate control cluster looks way different than my '05 FEH.
Is that an iPod/Aux connector I see near the bottom with a cord plugged in.

There's a thread that has a link to the 08 MMH official website which has lots of movies and pics, and the interior sure looks like that 08 MMH.

What's that red button on the dash? EV-only button

Exterior looks pretty decent... although is that a 1 1/4" or a 2" hitch on the back? Sure wish Ford could refine the Escape's interior... still has that bolted/slapped together look with utilitarian angles, plastic parts... kind of like the Xterra, but a little bit better. Maybe they think that appeals to the market they're trying to sell this too...

Looks more like a std kill or panic button to me.

Maybe they are testing EV-only mode for sustained 65mph operation?

It is a hybrid - see the wheels, vent window and green area on the tach under the 0rpm hash mark?

The red switch is probably a master kill switch for the vehicle should it go apeshi* since it is obviously a test vehicle.

KGP must be getting balsy if they are trespassing on Ford property to get photos.

Where's the hand brake? I hate the pedal type. It makes it like you are not supposed to use it or something.

Looks like they moved all of the wiper controls and combined them with the lights/signals.
