I have an '07 stripper and it doesn't have automatic headlights. It looks like you can add it on to any FEH as an aftermarket part from Ford, though. Anybody here have experience installing these? Keep in mind this isn't to be confused with daytime headlights (DRLs) which are a fleet option on FEHs.

The 07 had auto lights added as an option. I test drove an 06 vs 07 and that was the only obvious difference.

Just to mention, since the thread has been moved over to the Press section, apparently the brakes have been re-programmed for '08 too.

Wow is all I have to say. We got our 2008 MMH tonight and absolutely love it. It suits my wife's driving style so much more then my HCH does. She was able to rip off 34.5MPG on a 18 mile stretch. Yet she can't break 40mpg in my HCH. She says getting it into ev mode is quite easy. She was able to hold it in ev mode doing about 25 miles per hour for like a half a mile in our development. Something I can't do in my HCH oooh well. Nothing like a full hybrid I showed the dealer how to drive it in pure EV mode as well and he was like wow, i didn't know that these could do that. I got one of only 4 in Ohio. It was the car in the Cleveland auto show. I thoroughly checked it out for damage

The car also moves from gas to ev and back to gas really smoothly. We bought the 4wd 2k8 MMH and absolutely love the vehicle. We got every option but the power point. We paid a little under invoice for the car.

So far the only minuses that I guess I could find is:

no temp gauge (dont know why you need an assist/charge gauge if you have the nav)
radio should display at the top of the column as well so you can turn off nav screen if you want.

Minor, minor problems, great little suv, really great.
I think we're gonna love this little car.

I just picked up 2008 MMH last night and love it. I got the FWD w/ premium package and power point. In the 100 miles I have put on it already, I am average 29.2 mpg. I have posted some pics in the share section under MMH.
