2005 Ford Escape Hybrid, No com with TBCM, No relevent codes
I've tried a bunch of things and I'm out of ideas:
Bought this 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid at auction, non-running. Stop safely now message, no crank.
Had a bunch of codes at initial diagnostics. Found the PCM/TBCM fuse blown, and sitting next to the fuse panel. Also found the AC fuse blown and in place, and the cigarette lighter fuse missing.
Replaced the fuses. All my codes went away. Still have "stop safely now" message, and no crank.
The only code i have is a P1000-FF code, which isn't relevant.
Using Forscan, I have no communication with the TBCM. It does not show up as a module in the app.
I checked all powers and grounds using this procedure from ford. All tested good.
I checked the high speed can bus lines. 60ohms with the C4427a plug connected, 120ohms with it disconnected.
I've checked every fuse and relay in the car. They all test good.
I replaced the TBCM inside the battery with a unit off of ebay with no change.
I've probably tried other things that i cannot remember.
When i turn the key on, i hear the solenoid in the battery pack close and then open again. The high voltage jump start module functions. It charges the high voltage battery when activated. I can read HV battery voltage through the TCM in Forscan. Just no com at all with the BCM in forscan.
I'm really out of ideas, and out of guesses.
