I need the rear battery air conditioning plastic cover plate for a grey interior 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid. Ford only sells it as part of a $250.00 panel. Looking for names and phone numbers of salvage dealers with FEHs in their yard. The internet parts search doesn't do the job because it doesn't differentiate FEH from regular escapes and lumps all interior parts together. I have been to pick your part and find that this is a FEH specific part. The part 2" x 3" of grey plastic was lost when a body shop had the interior out during recent repairs. Can you find a salvage yard that might have a Escape Hybrid out there? I've seen a few pictures of Hybrids that have met their end in accidents. I'd start calling around to the larger salvage yards in the area and see if any of them have taken in a hybrid.

That is the question I am asking. I live in Canada, few FEHs were sold here because the dealers had to take special training and most dealers that applied to sell them were too lazy to stock them. No stock, no test drives, few sales. That is why I ended up getting a rebuilt one with no warranty from the USA since Ford dealers in the northern border states would not sell into Canada and Ford dealers were saying they would not honor US warranty if I bought in a US vehicle. So I might as well buy one with no warranty. I am looking for the names of yards & phone numbers so that I can contact them directly.

Part has been found thank you for your help. There is a salvage yard in Redding CA (LKQ) that has Ford Escape Hybrid parts.
