Default $1500 lithium ion battery pack in 2009

Ener1Del of Indiana made this announcement in October 2007. Here is the source: http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/09...ry-in-2-years/

Ener1Del has already signed a $1.4 million control with Gobal Cars to produce and provide the lithium ion battery pack and other stuff. Ener1Del is estimating this contract could grow to $200 million. Read carefully the articles as Ener1Del isn't saying Plug-in Hybrid.

Well, what I am reading, is that they have nothing now. It is only their own hope, to be able to find a way to somehow produce Li-ion batteries that might be as low as $1,500, but only if everything goes just right.
