intersting, an 09 being advertised when the rest of us can't say production has even started. Which when will they finally update the build & price on Ford's site?

Still shocked at the used 08 prices, $25, 28k +

 

Can't speak to what anyone puts on Ebay...there is nothing that really prevents someone from just flat out lying there...but I can say that production has started for both gas and hybrid escapes. This has been confirmed by Ford employees at Blue Oval News.

 

That auction says 08'.

 

It does, but it also say Limited (I was like yea whatever), but then says Sync as well, I know the 08's don't have Sync. But who knows what your actually buying, if anything at all!!

wasn't there a game system scam like last Christmas or the one before, people selling the empty boxes???

 

The Ebay post is for an 09 (read the text). It is a dealer trying to max return on an anticipated (obviously not in stock) vehicle.

"We are one of the largest dealerships in the southeast and this is the only 2009 model promised to us so far by ford this quarter"

They are still listing it variously as a 2008 and a 2009 (depending on what part of the page you are looking at).

I'm not sure I'd want to buy from a dealer that is confused over such a simple thing as the model year of the car they are selling.

If it is an '09, shouldn't it be listed as having a 2.5L engine instead of the 2.3?

I'm guessing this guy wants to sell his one and only allocated FEH quickly and his area probably doesn't have high demand so he is going the ebay route for a wider audience.

Also sounds like he is clueless....
