Use of an engine block heater (option 41H) and hybrid battery heater makes all the difference in the world. When the battery is very cold--near 32F, it will go thru a series of charges and discharges in an attempt to warm itself. It is true your driving experience will be different when the hybrid battery pack is too cold.

If you haven't bought one yet, I have an '05 I'd sell with 105k or so on it. (I'm on the north side of the cities) I've got AWD, leather, and that 'awesome' factory NAV. MECS has been done already- as well as rear struts.

5 mile commute- it doesn't make much sense for me. And I miss my manual transmission cars. Otherwise I'd keep it.

set the cruise down the freeway at 65, it'll get 32ish... That's what I got on my last trip to Des Moines.
