with diesel running higher than unleaded, what is the effective mileage on a price basis?

 

I guess you guys were looking for me to actually make things happen with the club; I was looking for more of a consensus thing.

I am a new civic hybrid owner - coming from the other end of the high mileage vehicle (VW TDI wagon) -although "dirty" high mileage. My VW drank biodiesel.

I am in SE michigan - would be interested in any GTG's.

I recently bought a 2006 FEH in Long Island and drove it back to East Lansing. I have been a long time Audi owner, so I am needing to get used to the plastic surroundings, but I like the overall size v.s. gas consumption ratio.
I love this site. It is answering a lot of questions that have arised..like the strange noice it makes when I open doors ( hydraulic brakes).
Has anyone tried the material you can buy to make the console and gear shifting area look better? I saw a few options for this at Autoanything.com, but not sure if it does much for the Escape's plastic interior.
