Re: Madison Hybrid Group – Next Get Together - September 10th.
Arrrrrgggh.
The wrong date was on the previous announcement. It is NOT the 10th (Tenth)
(Sorry. There’s a Badger game on the 10th.)
The correct date for the next meet up is Saturday, September 17th (Seventeenth).
It is still the same time and location.
I have edited the original post. It is now correct.
Sorry for the error.

Hi Krousdb:
___This Illini has been to a few of Eric’s Wisconsin get togethers and they were worth it imho. As for the driving distance, it is only a hop skip and a jump from Pittsburgh
___Eric, I will try and be there. Instead of the discussion, have you considered a real world - behind the wheel - hypermiling clinic with a drive out on a country road for the HCH and Prius owners? 4 in the car at a time should prove its worth?
___Good Luck

Any ideas on how to structure the "clinic" portion of the meeting? Would we need to extend the meeting time 1/2 hour? I know I could show the P&G technique. I may be able to train someon else (Jared?) before the meeting.
Any MHG members that read this should chime in.
Wayne you can call me and discuss or we can meet in the chatroom.

Originally, I was thinking that this would be a good meetup to attend. Then I looked at a map and realized that Madison is 2.5 hours away. Even with a hybrid that's a long haul.

Re: Madison Hybrid Group – Next Get Together - September 17th.
You can definitely count on us being there (Bradlee, Justin and Marie Fons). Marie (the primary Prius Pilot) finally agreed to attend one of these after she heard about the record Prius tank, and wants to meet Wayne. Since the last get-together our collective mileage has increased dramatically. Now we're getting ~65 in the Prius (thanks to P&G) and still getting lower 80's in the Insight. We'll be bringing both hybrids with us this time again. The "clinic" portion of the event sounds like a great idea, especially after the Prius marathon drive's influence on many drivers to drive more efficiently. It's a nice drive out to Madison, especially if we're competing for best hypermiling on the way!
So count us in for the september gathereing in our 2000 5sp New Formula Red Insight, and the 2004 pkg. 9 Tideland Pearl Prius.

Hi Eric:
___Unless I can pull a trade with someone at work (I will find out tomorrow afternoon possibly), I will not be able to make it this time around I do want to hear all the details even if I cannot make it there myself. …
