Actually since you'll be in Madison, you may also get to see Chad Vader , Darth Vader's younger, less charismatic brother, who is the day shift manager of a grocery store. The "Empire Market" scenes in the episodes were filmed on location at ***** Street Co-op, Madison, WI.

Hmmm... maybe someone needs organize a side trip to the store.

Strange - I never saw "Chad" Vader in any of the movies...

I will be driving about 2000 miles, from the state of WA. Hoping to average over 95 mpg along the way. Driving cross-country is lots of fun; usually I try to go 18 hours each day.

The lunch, banquet, and mpg competition sound like a blast.....as well as meeting lots of nice folks!

There is an Insight I've got my eye on... if I manage to get it (and it is before July) I would really like to attend.

Thumbs up Re: Hybridfest 2007

When in Madison (my old hometown), be sure to stop by State Street Brats for some grease, then wash it all down at the Red Shed ... where you can still get a mason jar full of Long Island Iced Tea for $4.50.

Good stuff.

Well I just made my reservation at the Clarion today, so I'm going to Hybrid Fest! Still not sure which car I'll be bringing though, but should know in a few weeks.
