Hi I have a 2009 chevy malibu hybrid. I want to install a 12 inch subwoofer in the trunk. My question is, has anyone else done this before? Could it mess with the hybrid system? I've called around and every audio place says it can be done, but idk if they are just trying to get my business. Does anyone have any insight

 

Just don't cut into or splice into any of the hybrid system wires.
