Default How biofuels are created from Plant material?

Hello Friends......

How a fuel is produced from plant materials can depend on a variety of factors, including the plant material being used and the fuel being produced. In the case of ethanol, the two main conversion methods used to make ethanol from biomass are biochemical and thermochemical.

Thanks

Coskata can produce cellulose ethanol from almost any feedstock and on the "fly". Their production method does not require a plant shutdown when the feedstock is changed. They claim a 7x positive energy production with their technology.

thanks for the link. so if im correct, biomass undergoes a chemical reaction because of which ethanol is released
