Ethanol by-product production increases efficiency

"Starting Jan. 15, 2009, Plymouth Oil will begin refining raw corn germ, an ethanol plant byproduct, to be made into food-grade cooking oil. About 25 jobs will be created, and the plant will have the capability of pumping out 80 tons of corn oil each day."
Those elected officials have to notice the average hourly wage of $16.45.

Excellent! This is what innovation does.
All of my career, I have moved toward new technology even though it initially seems more expensive. In the long term, new technology reduces costs, improves service and sustains employment. Those who stayed and defended 'business as always' simply delay the inevitable.
