The move comes as a response to the more progressive approach taken by many other manufacturers, including GM. Ford Europe knew they had to catch up to keep on top. So, it is no surprise that they’re taking action with a massive new investment strategy that will see them spending $22 billion by 2025. It also helps that the company returned to profitability in the final quarter of 2020, thanks in no small part to their commercial vehicle sales.
