Thanks to a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, Everrati’s all-electric GT40 churns out 800 HP of power and 590 lb-ft of maximum torque.

British restomod manufacturer Everrati Automotive Ltd made a name for itself with its range of future-proof classic cars. Earlier last month, the company joined forces with Aria Group to sell its electric Porsche models in the US. More recently, the company disclosed the specifications of its battery-only GT40. Everrati’s all-electric GT40 uses a pair of electric motors which propel the rear wheels.

Everrati’s GT40 is the perfect solution for enthusiasts who want the perks of an electric powertrain and the classic styling of automotive icons. About a year ago, Everrati partnered with Superformance to develop electric and internal combustion versions of the GT40. The companies aim to build modern versions of the nameplate with “continuation” quality parts.

The build quality of Everrati’s all-electric GT40 is quite impressive and has earned it a slot in the Shelby Registry. Everrati’s engineering director Mike Kerr shared his thoughts on the electric GT40.

“Future-proofing a car of the GT40’s legendary status is both a privilege and a challenging responsibility,” shares Kerr. He further adds, “Quality and authenticity are of paramount importance at every stage. That’s why at Everrati, we insist on the complete design and development process being documented and controlled using OEM-derived practices.”

A pair of radial flux permanent magnet electric motors will power the EV. Furthermore, a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery pack will be responsible for delivering the juice, and the battery-only drivetrain will produce 800 HP of maximum power and 590 lb-ft of peak torque. This rear-wheel-drive supercar can hit the 60 MPH mark from a complete standstill in less than 4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 125 MPH.

The battery pack sits behind the driver for better weight distribution and offers a low center of gravity. The car also gets fast charging capability, allowing customers to recharge their rides from 20% to 80% in just 45 minutes. According to the company, this electric GT40 can deliver 125 miles of range. The car also comes complete with two sound generators, which can replicate the V8 exhaust note of the original car.
