Unique Aftermarket

The Tesla Cybertruck took the world by storm when it made its memorable debut in 2019. And if the recent announcements are to be believed, the electric vehicle manufacturer will begin deliveries of these gnarly beasts later this year. While the official arrival of the pickup truck is at least several months away, the aftermarket has already began creating ideas to supplement the vehicle's functionality. It's safe to say that the aftermarket for Elon Musk's brain child is about as unique as the product itself.

Livable Truck

One aftermarket company is Stream It, Inc. The company showed digital renderings and animations of their future product last month, and already garnered quite a bit of attention. The Cyberlandr is an interesting modular in-bed camper design, with enough functionality to turn the truck into a full-on living situation!

1 Bed, 1 Bath

The CyberLandr addition features a bathroom, bedroom, and a kitchen, all in miniature scale, of course. And the video feature released by the company reveals a fascinating, modern design for the camper, making very efficient use of the limited space. This product has been very well-received by prospective Cybertruck owners.

Generating Buzz

According to Stream It, the Cyberlandr addition for the Tesla has already generated “more than $50 million in future revenue” in the form of pre-orders. The price of admission for a Cyberlandr unit is just under $50,000, with a $5,000 initial deposit required to get throw one's name in the hat. They can be ordered on the company's website.

Optimistic Market Outlook

Stream It has announced that it will be working with an influential figure in the EV world, Sandy Munro to ensure maximum quality as the manufacturer scales its production. Company CEO Lance King is heavily optimistic about the potential of the product, stating their early success only accounts for only about 10% of all future Cybertruck owners. Just as with the truck itself, we'll have to wait and see how the Cyberlandr does once in production.
