Default Milage Database: Notes '

It seems that there's a bug, whenever you put an apostrophe in the more info notes, instead of showing up as ' it shows up as '.

So, I type in, Should've, it shows up Should've in the display after I enter it in the more info section on the tank info.

I'm not seeing this in Firefox on Mac. What browser/platform are you using?

Internet Explorer on XP here - same problem. It's done it ever since the migration to the 2.0 database or whatever for me.

Yeppers. On my tank notes I'm going to start writing " [apostrophe] " when necessary. JK, Jason - if this is the largest of qualms with the site, I'd say you're in good shape.

Must be an IE issue. I think I'll download IE for Mac (blasphemous!) and see if it has the same problem. It's a pretty annoying issue because the code basically requires ' to not be used (since it's in a popup). A replacement is required. It appears Firefox is rendering things correctly while IE is being sloppy.

I've confirmed that this is a bug in IE. I'm also pretty disappointed that the template doesn't look completely correct in IE on Mac... it's stretched horizontally in a few places I'll look into these issues.

It's the M$ style at work: embrace and extend

Hopefully PC users know that Firefox for Windows is available, and AFAIK is just as wonderful a browser on that platform, as it is on Linux and Macintosh.

I believe I've fixed the issue. At least, with Firefox and IE on Mac. Can you confirm on PC?
