When I joined I added my IM user names and notice ICON's come up showing me as "online" however there does not appear to be a way to IM others that are online, only sent private emails?

Anyway to IM a member (assuming you do not know their user name already)?

 

click their button next to their name. It should open your IM program and start the IM session.

 

Humm.. that is what I thought would happen, but it just takes me to the place on the GH site where I can send an email. COuld be the fact I use Trillian, which is the IM program that allows you be logged into multiple IM clients (Yahoo, AOL, MSN) at the same time and use a common window to chat.

I get a window with that in it when I click the IM icon next to someones name.
