Has anyone converted their regular headlights to HID? We had wanted HID for our 2006 Prius, but when the dealer ordered our car and mistakenly specified the wrong package, we decided to take it anyhow.

I would appreciate any info, experiences, and/or sources for where to get the proper equipment.

There was a thread over at priuschat about this. You can read it here, but the general consensus is to be able to do it right and have it be DOT approved would be costly. From reading what she's posted elsewhere, I would trust what Galaxee has to say in her post.
