Default 2010 Prius Model/Option Question

Does anyone know why the Prius V does not have the solar roof option? Is there some structural or mechanical reason? I need the LED headlamps for night driving - which are only available on the V.

Seems strange to me. There must be a reason and thought one of you wise folks probably knows.

thank you!

Priuschat is probably your best place to ask/find answers to these questions. I found the above two (read about these before long ago) via a few quick Google searches and drilling down w/site:priuschat.com as part of the query.

Thank you for the reply.

Basic answer is: too much weight for the stated mpg.
